THE CHENOWETH STORE

This web page is not a store for commercial purposes. The web site has not paid for access to the INTERNET as a commercial venture. We hope to provide information here for the benefit of family members in finding items of interest peculiar to the Chenoweth cousins.

At present, there are six items that may be of interest to family members. Illustrated below are:

THE CHENOWETH
HISTORY BOOKS

The green reprint book is not preseently available. The reunion committee was in negotiations to purchase the inventory from the publisher when the publisher went out of business. No suitable agreement could be reached.

The Chenoweth Store received permission from the author, Richard Harris, to reprint Chenoweth Family In America. We are happy to announce that the second printing edition is now available. Address orders for this book to:
Chenoweth Family History
2322 E. Hawthorne Street
Tucson, AZ 85719-4942
The books cost $40.00 each and this includes postage and handling. Make checks payable to Chenoweth Family History.
In May, 2007, the United States Postal Service (USPS) tripled the postage fees for out-of-country parcels and printed a customs form with states choices for service and then the service is denied. Therefore, the postage is more than the value of the book and will not be mailed outside the postal zip code areas of the United States of America.

Cora Hiatt invited all family members that she knew to send information about the family tree. She was not able to physically go check out all the details and sources and there were the inevitable errors made. The Harris book picks up with Hiatt's book and brings all branches of the family in to this fast closing century. Mr. Harris corrects errors that Hiatt made and there have been many changes made since Harris published.

THE CHINWORTH BRIDGE MUG

This cream colored mug with sienna artwork just makes a good cup of coffee taste better. This commemorative edition celebrated the centennial of an asset to travellers comfortable travel by allowing the citizen's of Warsaw, Indiana, a new way across the Tippecanoe River and on west along the Lincoln Highway in 1897.

The Old Chinworth Bridge was called such because the bridge approaches were on the land that was a part of the William H. Chinworth farm. Great-grandfather Chinworth donated the land that allowed the bridge to connect the left bank of the Tippecanoe to the right bank as the river wiggled past Warsaw on its way southwest.

This bridge coffee mug is for sale at the Kosciusko County Jail Historical Museum. To acquire this mug, you have to visit the jail museum in Warsaw, Indiana. The KCHS has an electronic mail site.
